Trevor Goffinet

Trevor Paul Goffinet, age 50, of Ponteix, SK, passed away Sunday, April 24, 2022 at Pasqua Hospital, Regina. The funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on May 2, 2022, from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church with Father Jules Adator officiating. Trevor is survived by his wife, Terra; children, Taylor (Nick), Tamara (Chris), Tristan (Justin) and Tyson (Aly); grandchild, Blake; mother, Margaret; brothers, Curtis (Heidi), Greg (Rikki), Bryan and  many nieces and nephews; mother and father-in-law, Gloria and John, and brother and sister-in-law, Darryl (Stacey) and Shawna (Corey), and many nieces and nephews. Trevor was predeceased by his father, Paul. Trevor was born on January 12, 1972 in Swift Current, SK, and attended school in Ponteix. He and Terra married in Ponteix on April 8, 2000. Trevor enjoyed working as a farmer and rancher; he absolutely loved life on the farm. Trevor was always very involved in sports, including curling, hockey, baseball and golf. He was the President of Minor Hockey in Ponteix for many years. He coached many of his childrens' hockey teams in the area: the Ponteix Penguins, Woodriver Ice Cats and the Shaunavon Badgers. Alongside his sports, Trevor also enjoyed camping with his family and puzzling. Spending time at the lake was always special time, and he also enjoyed travelling to Vegas and tropical resorts with Terra and their friends.
