It is with great sadness, we announced the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grandmother, Lucille Perrault (Nee: Forget) on January 12, 2021 at her home in Ponteix. An angel came down from the Heavens and took her into his arms and up to Heaven. Lucille passed away suddenly at the age of 90. Lucille was born on the farm near Ponteix on December 4, 1930. After completing high school, she went to Normal School. After teaching for a few years. She married Paul Perrault. Together they started a life of farming. They were blessed with nine children, each have memories of milking cows, feeding chickens and helping with the huge garden. After the kids left home, Lucille decided to do something with her love of sewing. She opened a Sewing Centre and Variety Store. She got to know and sew for a lot of people far and wide. Lucille had her store for 25 years. She was a member of the CWL, FFCF and Les Amis, for many years. Lucille was predeceased by her parents, her sister Irene and her husband Paul. She leaves to mourn her children; Annette (Ron) Martin, Rosaire (Terri) Perrault, Irene (Paul) Picray, Helene (Tom Williamson) Perrault, Roger (Alice) Perrault, Robert (Tracy Emmerson) Perrault, Roland Perrault, Marianne (Michel) Bouvier, Alain (Brenda) Perrault; 23 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren. A Prayer Service was held Friday, January 15, 2021 at 7:00 pm from Notre Dame d'Auvenge Roman Catholic Church. The Funeral Mass took place Saturday, January 16, 2021 at 1:00 pm from Notre Dame d'Auvenge Roman Catholic Church with Father Melchor Samonte officiating. The Interment Service took place at Notre Dame d'Auvenge Catholic Cemetery. In Lucille's memory, memorial donation may be made to the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home, 428 2nd Ave, Ponteix, Saskatchewan, S0N 1Z0. Lemieux Funeral Home in care of arrangements.
