Lucien Auger

AUGER: Lucien Albert was born on June 22, 1948 in Ponteix, SK and he passed away peacefully on September 17, 2021 in Swift Current, SK after a long 5 year battle with cancer. Up until the last day he was still making jokes that would bring a smile to your face. Left to mourn his memory is one son Kelly (Renae) Auger and one daughter Charlotte Austin; 13 grandchildren: Noah Auger, Jacey Auger, Christina Eresman, Melissa Fehr, Angela Fehr, Jeremy Auger, Jamie Austin, Dylan Austin, Travis Auger, Joshua Auger, Lucienne Auger,
Angel Vandam, and Natasha Auger and their families. He is also survived by his brothers: Roger (Hedy) De Montigny, and Marcel Auger; sisters; "Pat" Goddu, Yvette Wetterstrand, Helen Desautels, Madeleine Spaan, Marguerite Weber, and Theresa Andreas; sisters-in-law Pearl Auger and Louise Auger and one brother-in-law Laurent Dumont; as well as many nieces and nephews and their families.
He was predeceased by his parents, Albert and Adrienne Auger; son Lucien Joseph Auger; his common-law partner Rose Maurie Rush;
brothers Raymond Auger and Paul Auger; sister Lucille Dumont; and numerous brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. The funeral will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 at 11:00 am at Notre Dame D'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church in Ponteix, SK with a luncheon to follow the service. Lucien had made many special friends during his time at the Meadows in Swift Current. And the family would like to send a special thanks to the staff, nurses and care givers that took such good care of Lucien while he was there.
