Lorraine Shaddock

Shaddock, Alice Lorraine Shaddock, age 91, of Ponteix, Sk passed away May 22, 2021 at Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home in Ponteix. The Memorial Service was held Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 2:00 pm from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Catholic Church with Linda Stumpf officiating. The Organist was Cindy Gorrill. The Urn Bearers were Mik Shaddock and Jordan Jarvis. The Life Tribute was given by Shay Ann Schier and the Reading was done by Jackie Shaddock. The Interment Service took place at the Ponteix Cemetery. Lorraine is survived by her son Gary (Jackie) Shaddock and their children; Mik (Jenni) Shaddock and Shay Anne (Dan) Schier; Daughter, Arlene (Craig) Leishman and their children Carey Leishman and Steve (Mandy) Leishman; Daughter, Brenda (Lindsay) Jarvis and their children Kristopher, Stephanie and Jordan Jarvis; Daughter Leanne (Charles) Carignan and their children Monique and Carlie Carignan; Sister, Joan Lyon; Brother, Bob (Cheryl) Perkins; Brother-in-law Dennis Hillis; six great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Dennis; her parents George and Alice Perkins; In-Laws, Edwin and Emily Shaddock; Brother; Lloyd Perkins in infancy; Sisters; Doris Dash and Jackie Hillis; Brothers-in-law; Leonard Dash and Ron Lyon; Nephews Kelly Perkins and Jim Hillis. Lorraine was born in Aneroid, Sk. on July 17, 1929. She attended school in Aneroid and was married to Dennis Shaddock on June 10, 1949. Lorraine was a homemaker and farmwife, including helping to haul grain at harvest time. She was a member of the Ponteix United Church, Ponteix UCW and was the United Church secretary for many years. Lorraine also enjoyed gardening, camping, travelling and visiting family. She especially enjoyed when her family got together and was also happy to babysit her grandchildren when asked. She will be sadly missed but fondly remembered by her family and friends. In her memory, memorial donations may be made to the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home, 428 2nd Ave, Ponteix, Sk S0N 1Z0.
