Armand Cloutier Obituary

CLOUTIER: Armand Guy age 80 years of Ponteix, SK passed away on May 20, 2022 at the Cypress Regional Hospital. The funeral service was held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 28, 2022 from Notre Dame d'Auvergne Roman Catholic Church with Father Jules Adator officiating. The organist was Danny Roberge, the soloists were Micheline Cloutier and Jason Cote, the eulogy was read by Brian Cote, and the readers were Diane Liboiron and Louise Cloutier. The cross bearer was Micaela Baxter, the urn bearer was David Cloutier and the honorary pallbearers were all those in attendance. The interment service took place at Ponteix Parish Cemetery. Armand is survived by his wife Fay (nee Lavallee) Cloutier; his children David (Lorrie) Cloutier, Lisa (Ronald) Cote, Monique (Ian) Baxter, and Rachel (Patrick) Kucik; his grandchildren Jason (Lindsey), Brian (Denelle), Alyssa (Blaine), Raven (Tanisha), Micaela, Nickolas, and Haley (Brad); great grandchildren Chase, Stryker, Treysen, Koyen and Brexen; brothers Andre Cloutier and Denis (Marguerite) Cloutier; sisters Mariette Paradis and Gisele Cloutier; in-laws Pat Bakus and Marcel (Irene) Lavallee; as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents Benoit and Amanda Cloutier; in-laws Joseph and Irene Lavallee; brothers Roland Cloutier, Gaston Cloutier and Raymond Cloutier; sisters Irene Matecha, Bernadette Lauer, Cecile Zinter, Simone Lorenz and Alice Forget; sisters-in-law Lorette Cloutier, Inez Cloutier and Pauline Cloutier; brothers-in-law John Matecha, Leander Lauer, Willie Zinter, Rene Forget and George Lorenz. Armand was born in Ponteix, SK on March 23, 1942 and attended Notekeu School until grade five then Ponteix School. Armand was united in marriage to Fay Lavallee on October 12, 1964 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Frenchville. He was a farmer and rancher his whole life and was a very dedicated Knights of Columbus member. Armand had many interests including riding his horses, playing his guitar, curling, reading books, he played in a little band - Good Times Band, he loved watching You-Tube on his Ipad and he treasured his grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family meant the world to Dad. Dad was not a man of many words but when he spoke it came from the heart. He was a gentleman and loved by everyone. Dad enjoyed riding horses even when the ones bucked him off. He was a gentle soul that will be missed by everyone. P.S. we will keep the jelly bean bowl full for the great grandkids and Chilli.
