Anna St. Cyr

Anna St. Cyr, born 1925 to Johan and Maria Donauer in Meyronne, SK, passed away June 20, 2021. She took her grade 1-12 schooling in Meyronne. In 1946 she married Robert St. Cyr and in that union they had 2 children. Mom worked in the Post Office until 1963, at which time they moved to Ponteix. She loved to knit, crochet, sew, paint by number, puzzles and the latest was adult colouring. No one ever ran out of hand made afghans and slippers. She also ran a home for challenged adults from 1968-1977. She grandma sat all the grandkids as well. In 2018 she made the Foyer St. Joseph her new home. She leaves to mourn her son Raymond (Gisele) St. Cyr; daughter Janet Stringer; grandkids, Cindy (Chris) Stuart, Lisa (Stacy) Perkins, Ryan St. Cyr, Jamey Stringer (Paula) and Jody Stringer (Roland); great grandkids, Raelyn, Josh, Teagan, Jaedon, Kaelyn, Summer, Grayson, Kipton, Alexis, and Cain. Anna was predeceased by her husband, Robert, her parents and sisters, Theresa Philibert and Mary Vervalcke; son-in-law, Joe Stringer, and 15 sisters and brothers in-law, and many nieces and nephews. Donations can be made to the Foyer St. Joseph Nursing Home - her happy place. Lemieux  Funeral Home, Ponteix, SK were entrusted with the arrangements.
